Sometimes you shoot and shoot all day and come home with nothing. But somedays you get lucky and manage to catch that one instant of time when light, movement, and people all come together. :)

When I'm in the other side of the world, especially on Saturday morning like it is right now, I really start to miss this place, the West Side Market. So I guess the next best thing is to post some film photos that were developed recently by http://thedarkroom.com. This was all shot with an old Kodak 110 camera. Fun stuff.

Here's the camera that was used. This one has a built in flash and it still works. A simple point and shoot camera but does a pretty good job!

Was busy printing copies of past film photos in the darkroom for my parents all week and never posted a photo of Emerson from week #3! So here's one from last weekend where he's giving me just a hint of a smile :)

"Crossing the arcade to stand beside her, high on the deal he'd made, he saw her glance up. Gray eyes rimmed with smudged black paintstick. Eyes of some animal pinned in the headlights of an oncoming vehicle."

Test shots at the Cleveland Museum of Art with the 10-24mm f/4 lens for my Fujifilm X-T1. All shot at 10mm just to see how wide it is and how sharp it is. And...it's pretty damn impressively sharp as expected!

I need to go through the tons of Instax instant photos I've taken in the last few months. Here are 4 snapshots from Japan and elsewhere.

Baby pictures have been running rampant here on the blog (for good reason). But I thought I'd add a few non-baby photos here just to mix it up a bit.

So, first up is Bubba looking not too happy in his cone :)

Forest looking all serious. For you camera people...this was shot at ISO 6400 with the new Fujifilm X-T1. My god...look how clean the images is...

The beta of the 2nd generation color film from The Impossible Project. It looks really nice and the rendering worked well for this old water tower.

The vaguely dilapidated look works well for this film. Anyone from Cleveland guess where this is shot?

Scans of the 5x7 prints developed in my "darkroom" (aka bathroom). Forgot to scan the earlier ones...but I'm going to reprint them for my parents anyway so I'll scan them then.

These were shot this past Saturday the 29th in the baby's room with my Hasselblad.

More photos of the baby. This time it's photos in his room and some with the other furry members of the family :)

This one's not of Emerson...but it's in his room so...kinda counts?

Did some candid shots today when I went to visit. Took various cameras but the main stuff were shot with a classic Polaroid camera and my new digital camera with an adapter on so I can shoot with a manual portrait lens (Zeiss). Fun stuff.

First up are 2 shot on expired old Polaroid Sepia film.

Emerson and his buddy, Bubba in the cone of shame :)

The rest are black and white digitals right out of the camera :)

Dennis tickling Emerson with his beard. Yup...
